Our reunion weekend was a great success.  It started Friday (August 15, 2008) evening with an informal get-together at the Como Restaurant.  More than 200 classmates and guests gathered together to renew acquaintances and share fond memories of our high school days.  (Click here for list of attendees)

The reunion continued Saturday (August 16, 2008) morning with a tour of the old Niagara Falls High School, which is now the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center.  More than 50 classmates and guests attended the tour.

Capping off the reunion weekend celebration was the 50-Year Golden Reunion Dinner-Dance held at the Niagara Falls Country Club Saturday evening.   (Click here for list of attendees)

Mike Ventry, president of the student council at Niagara Falls High School during our senior year, was scheduled to be part of the program at the 50-Year Golden Reunion Dinner Dance on August 16 to speak about the significance of the occasion.  Unfortunately, he came down with a bad case of laryngitis that day and was unable to deliver his remarks as he had planned.

Mike has given the Reunion Committee a copy of his speech and asked that it be posted onto our Web site. He had a particular message that he wanted to convey to his fellow classmates. The Reunion Committee is pleased to comply with Mike’s request.   Click on this link to view Mike's speech.
